When it comes to Software licensing my favourite is GPL. But as we are sharing multimedia, the best license would be Creative Commons. In an online Directory (Where I used to search for software) I found the another Open Source Video, actually an animation named Big buck bunny. We should create videos like that so any one can use them may be dub dialogues to the video as they want and use them for non-commercial educational purposes. Any ways, I'm going to watch your video and wish you all the best.

The Ripple Effect. The concert featured performances from Michael Franti, Anti-Flag, Dead Prez, Matisyahou and was supposed to include a surprise performances from Rage Against the Machine!

Apparently some 35000 similar lawsuits have been filed by the recording industry since 2003, but since most defendants end up settling for a few thousand dollars.

These lawsuits are so unfounded and blown out of proportion. I was reading about a woman who was sued for sharing 12 songs on kazaa and the courts decided that each song she had shared was worth a $27,000 dollar fine. Apparently thats how much damage they figured she did to the music industry. I have a friend who has a very large collection of music, roughly 16,000 albums saved on a bunch of western digital terabyte drives. If you average about 15 songs an album and $27k a song if he were to be sued his fine of $6.4 BILLION exceeds the entire recording industry profits for 2008 ($5.4b USD). It seems highly unlikely that he single handedly cut their profits in half. Food for thought anyway.

There are so many hackers on the internet for downloading music.
This is so sad to see. If the music industry does not control this they will not make any money and go out of business. They need to increase the penalty for downloading music. But where to start....

I have heard plenty of stories and have seen actual cases of parents being sued because of their music their kids download. Some even face jail time because of it. This is a clear example of corporations pushing their will onto law enforcement. It needs to be stopped.
